Mea culpa, sorry for the mistake! You are righht, Grenke is NOT in the TGV Partners Fund which is advised by Mathias Saggau. Grenke is in the TGV Rubicon Stockpicker Fund, which is not advised by Mathias Saggau. I should have checked better. TGV Rubicon has more turnaround situations and seems to be less long term oriented than the partners fund, so Grenke makes perfect sense in this fund as a turnaround situation. As a matter of fact, I think the holdings in TGV´s vehicles are worth a look, but one should keep in mind the different orientation and management styles of the vehicles, as you pointed out.
I don’t think Saggau is a shareholder in Grenke, maybe privately but not with his fund.
